Lake District Designs specialise in vintage prints inspired by the scenery, history and wildlife of the Lake District in Cumbria. We sell A3 prints which can be mounted to a give a premium look and feel. We can also print the designs in larger format for even more impact. All items are designed by Johnny Walker who was born and lives in the North Western Lakes. It’s a special place!
The Designs are a mixture of typographical and figurative. I use clean lines and colours in my work to give it both a contemporary and vintage look. Railway posters and art cirque the 1930s and 1940s have been a great influence. Cycling has proved one of my most popular themes so I’ve developed this further to include Yorkshire.
